(FAQs)

General Inquiries:

Do I have to order online?

Yes, online ordering ensures that we capture all the information we need (pick-up date and location, fall and spring dorm hall and room number). The last day to order full-service storage is May 14th, 2026 at 5pm.

What types of payment do you accept?

You may apply our services to your Student Account bill, pay by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover), or by check. Please note we do not accept cash.

How should I label my items?

All items should be labeled using the M&S labels. All information should be written clearly directly on the label, which can be obtained at 48 University Place (next to the U-Store) or at each residential college office starting April 27th (see other dates below), or typed into the PDF document and printed. Labels should be affixed to each item and completely covered with clear packing tape. Without a M&S label, there is no guarantee that items can be returned to their rightful owners.

How do I get my labels?

Labels can be downloaded here. See above question, "How should I label my items?", for instructions on application of the labels.

What if I don't know my Fall dorm room yet?

Please continue with your order and enter "waitlist" for your Fall dorm room assignment. We'll monitor housing updates over the summer and accommodate an changes as needed.

Can I store my items if I live in the Lakeside or Meadows apartments?

We're expanding our service to include Lakeside and Meadows! All graduate housing including Old Grad, New Grad, Meadows, and Lakeside, are eligible for our Full-Service plan.

Do you offer Fall/Spring storage?

We primarily offer storage over the summer. While we don't officially provide Fall/Spring semester storage, we may be able to accommodate individual cases on a need-by-need basis- just make sure to reach out with plenty of notice.

What if I need to access my items during the summer?

Unfortunately, once your items are in storage, we do not allow mid-summer access due to logistical and security concerns. Please make sure you've packed everything you'll need before drop off!

Where is the Economy Box Storage (EBS) page?
Unfortunately, we are no longer offering the Economy Box Storage (EBS) option. However, we have lowered our Full Service Storage prices, with offers like Early Bird pricing ($49.99/box) ending May 1st!

Full Service Storage Inquiries:

Can I designate a specific time for pick up?

No. Due to the number of customers on a given day and unforeseen complications (ex. more items than originally ordered, items not properly packed), we cannot guarantee a specific time.

What do I do if I don't know exactly how much I want to store?

If you've overestimated your storage, we will refund you the difference. If you've underestimated, we will send you an invoice (to the email on the order) for the remaining amount, and charge it to the payment method used to make the original order.
