Here are our suggestions for packing your boxes.









A light box is a safe box!

As a rule of thumb, try to keep each of your packed boxes under 40 lbs. (18.14 Kilos), which is about the weight of eight ECO 101 textbooks. 


Please note: Boxes over 40 lbs are subject to overweight fines and boxes over 60 lbs are not insured.

Label EVERYTHING!

Got an ottoman? Label it. A bike? Label it. A box, a bed, a lamp, a suitcase, a couch. . . label it all!

*Note that labels sometimes fall off during moving. Write your name, FALL dorm, and contact information directly on the box just to be safe!

Storing a set of plastic stackable drawers?

Tape 'em tightly so nothing falls out!
